On Wednesday, President Obama made a special announcement regarding gun control in America. After millions of Americans called for action after the Sandy Hook massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, the president answered by saying action will be taken immediately. The commander-in-chief declared he would advocate reinstating the assault weapons ban and would limit firearm magazines to 10 rounds among other things. So will these proposed measure prevent another Sandy Hook incident from occurring?
