In today’s tough economic times, it looks like gambling and booze may be the answer to America’s budget woes. Or at least that’s what cities and states across the country are banking on. With government’s struggling to raise revenue, we’re seeing a trend in the nation: expanding liquor laws, encouraging people to drink up. But is this really the best way to solve the budget deficit? And what are the true costs to society?
